Overloading & Weigh-in

Both English classes yesterday went well even though, as predicted, I came home after the night class at 9pm to two children still awake - well Ryu had been asleep but had woken up. Got them both to bed and then had long hot bath to try and sweat off some more flummy before my first weigh in which was this morning.

Weigh-in was after walking the kids to kindy - all three of them as Granny K had to go to the doctors. Hub was not impressed I was taking them all in the buggy and told me to take the car. Seriously though, this buggy is sturdier than our house. That said, I could only take this photo while holding onto the handle for fear of the buggy tipping backwards due to weight distribution issues.
Hub got quite bloody cross at me and said how on earth did I expect the children to listen to me if they were witness to me not listening to him? For fucks sake man. Go stick a knife in a power point and let me be.  He tried to get Shou to not go by telling him that we'd get in trouble by the police, so Shou spent the whole trip wondering if we would get pulled over for over-loading the push-chair. What a huuha. It's not like I've got eight people squashed into an Escort with limbs sticking out windows. It is 3 children in a 2 child buggy - and we were only two kg over the official weight thing anyway.

The trip was fine and Shou ended up walking the last 500m or so, during which time he arsed over twice.

Got home, did round one of the house stuff, got Ryu down for his nap and then stripped off - clothes, glasses, earrings, that really heavy hair tie I use.... and got on the scales.

Down 1kg since Monday. Wahoo. This is great news. I really needed to see movement this first week or I would have been all discouraged and gone straight out to buy chedder, chips and chocolate. Which reminds me, I have a box of goodies to send nieces. Would you believe a box with about ten yummy Japanese choccy things in it has been sitting on the kitchen shelf for two whole days and not been raided by self. Gone are the days where I would start getting a parcel together to send overseas and have to re-buy the yummies at least twice before getting it sent off.

Another beautiful day - had a few of those lately. Do you think if you are trying to put healthier foods into your body and drinking more water that you start seeing things a bit differently. Ooooh, nice blue sky.... what green grass..... why that's not a thousand bullfrogs croaking, thats a chorus of beautiful frogs, birds chirping.....

Whatever.

Let's just hope it lasts aye.

Good going, GW! I'd join you in the challenge, but there's no way I'm going to post a 'before' photo, at least not until I've slimmed down :-)
